First Blog, School, and Nystagmus

First of all, I finally created a blog, woohoo! I told everyone I would create one, once I had the baby and wasn't working anymore. Here I am 3 months later, finally getting around to it! Braden boy is doing well. He is growing so well, he is in the 50th percentile for height (24 inches), weight(13 lbs. 6 oz.), and head circumference, so we love that. He also started sleeping 8 hours at night last week, so we feel pretty lucky.

Also, Brian started his 2nd year of Law School today! He is away at class right now, learning all the ways of being a lawyer, so that one day we can climb out of the student loan debt we are in and be self supporting. That will be the day! However, I am pretty well enjoying our life right now, because he is home alot to spend time with me and Braden. Now THAT is priceless. It will definitely be a sad day when he actually has to go to work ALL DAY.

Last, but not least, yesterday we took Braden to the doctor for Nystagmus in his eyes. Nystagmus is where the eyes oscillate back and forth really fast. It is usually a symptom of a deeper problem (could be a tumor, even) and usually some degree of vision loss, so we took him to his Pediatrician to check it out. She agreed with us that it needs to be checked out further, so she referred us to a Pediatric Opthalmologist. She is hoping, though, that since it isn't very severe Nystagmus, that it is just an exaggeration of Braden trying to look far to the right or left. Right now we are praying hard that nothing is wrong with our little boy, and we would appreciate your prayers as well. We will update you once we go to the Opthalmologist.
